If you are lucky enough to have your very own swimming pool, then you probably know just how hard it really is to maintain it. There are a lot of things that have to be considered to keep your pool safe and clean so you and your family can enjoy it all the time.
The most important among all of those is maintaining pool chemistry. Make sure that the water’s pH is just right to keep it clear, prevent damage to expensive equipment, and prevent erosion. Add chlorine or bromine to the water regularly, as this keeps your pool sanitized. This kills bacteria, molds, algae, and all sorts of living organisms that you don’t want swimming with you in your pool.
Check your skimmer basket and see to it that it is always clean and clear from debris to keep water circulating. Also add algaecide and clarifier regularly…the algaecide to prevent algae growth, and the clarifier to keep prevent cloudiness in the water.
Lastly, clean the pool’s walls, remove leaves that fall into it, and regularly check the filters. There are some other things that you can do to maintain your pool, but the tips above will help you do it easily.
